Coniaris has been a yoga teacher for 25 years with over 40 years of meditation and 30 years of hatha yoga experience. Chris masterfully weaves philosophy and yogic psychology into his passionate lectures.

How you breath affects everything!  Your mental state, stress level, heart rate, blood pressure, lymph drainage, intercellular communication, immune response, quality of sleep and more.  Learn to use your breath to serve your purposes.  You can use these skills throughout your day as well as for deep relaxation.  Take the plunge and explore for yourself.

Introduction to Travel Sketch Journaling

Join Travel Journal Sketch Artist Darsie Beck and learn how to create your own travel sketch journal.

Darsie Beck is a working artist, author, and teacher living on Vashon Island, WA. His passions are journal keeping, writing, painting, stone carving, and travel journal sketching. Darsie authored Discovering Your Essential NatureThe Art of Journaling to Greater Awareness and Personal Fulfillment, a workbook describing his long-practiced morning centering ritual of writing-drawing as active meditation.

Enhance your travel experience with memory creating sketches. Learn the centering qualities of sketching and the practice of daily journal keeping. Experience the ease of working with watercolor pencils, micron pens and water-brush to enhance your sketching experience.

This workshop provides an introduction to the process involved in creating a travel sketch journal, from page design to materials demonstration and hands-on experimentation. All skill levels are welcome!

Yoga and Hiking Retreat

Sarana Miller is a nationally renowned yoga teacher known for her calming, joyful presence, her precise instruction, and her ability to engage directly with a wide range of students.  In her

20-plus years as a teacher, she has empowered thousands of students to develop trust in their bodies, guiding them to greater strength, flexibility, and confidence. She is committed to teaching all ages, all levels of practitioners and all body types, with the sole goal of deepening self-awareness and joy in movement.

Her teaching draws on many yoga styles, and is primarily based on the Iyengar tradition which emphasizes precision, alignment and learning to move with the breath. She has studied in-depth with such yoga masters as Rodney Yee, Thomas Fortel, Ana Forrest, Sarah Powers and American kirtan master Jai Uttal.

The hikes cover a variety of terrain, including a wild coastal ramble, two mountains, a day trip to historic Skagway, and a journey to the barren interior. Some previous hiking experiences enhance your adventure.  Three of the hikes are suitable for those with moderate or little experience; two of the hikes are more strenuous.

Using our bodies is our doorway to mindful living. We will cultivate joy and positivity as we navigate breathtaking scenery and occasional challenges like mud, rain, and devils club. Join a group of 18 women on a spiritual journey with Rabbi Sydney Mintz, Cantor Marsha Attie and Yoga Master Sarana Miller for a retreat immersed in nature, Jewish learning and engagement, soul lifting music, Shabbat unplugged, exceptional yoga, meditation and hiking in one of the most spectacular wilderness landscapes in the world.

Rabbi Sydney Mintz (she/they) is a spiritual leader and activist. Rabbi Mintz has served as the Rabbi of the historic Temple Emanu-El in San Francisco for the past 25 years. She is the co-creator of the Book of Life Project with Rabbi Matthew Gewirtz and Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback, which connects people internationally with ancient and cutting-edge Jewish wisdom to enable us to write our own Books of Life.

Shamanic Yoga Retreat

Mally’s life has been deeply entrenched with indigenous cultures. Her spiritual roots are embedded with Native Americans. For a decade she studied the Lakota traditions and in 2002, she was adopted into the Sioux tribe and cherishes this unique honor.
