The Yurts

Our yurts are situated in secluded spots on the property ensuring that each guest has their own private slice of heaven to enjoy.

The Honeymoon Yurt

  • 14 feet
  • Queen bed

The 14’ Honeymoon yurt is the most isolated yurt. Accessed along a path adjacent to the beach, it is popular for longer stays and is often booked in June and July a year in advance. There is an adjacent outdoor camp kitchen complete with a sink and a cold water facet, an apartment-sized refrigerator, pans, utensils and dishes.

The Cliff Yurt

  • 14 feet
  • Queen Bed
  • Deck

The 14’ Cliff Yurt sits on a bluff above the Meditation Building. Loved for the seclusion as well as the fabulous view of the Chilkat Inlet and Chilkat Mountains 3 miles across, guests ask to return to the cliff yurt. It is especially popular for those with bear phobia!

The Beach Yurt

  • 14 foot
  • Queen bed

The 14’ Beach Yurt is a light and bright option, conveniently located near the parking and adjacent to the shower building. Everyone who has stays in the Beach Yurt promises to return! It also is the closest in proximity to the new timber frame “community” building now under construction.

The Riverside Yurt

  • 16 feet
  • Queen bed
  • Deck

The 16’ delux Riverside Yurt sits on a deck, adjacent to a year-round stream which lulls our guests with the constant song of flowing “run-off” from Lily Lake on Mount Riley. When needed, the loveseat converts into a full size twin bed. There is a simple out door camp kitchen complete with a small tabletop refrigerator, burners, pans, dishes and utinsils. Bring your books and take advantage of down time from the internet. It’s glamping!
