The Yurts
Our yurts are situated on the property, all with views of the inlet and mountains, but located to ensure privacy for our guests. Bring your books, turn off your phones and take advantage of down time from the internet.
The Lodge is available to guests for gathering and preparing meals with the exception of occasional scheduled private events in the building. There is wi-fi at the Lodge. And the Lodge is also the only flush toilet on the property. Otherwise the yurts all have access to well-kept out houses. It’s glamping!
The Honeymoon Yurt

The 14’ Honeymoon yurt is the most private yurt closest to the Meditation Building. A few minutes’ walk to the lodge, it is accessed along a path past the gardens, adjacent to the beach, it is popular for longer stays and is often booked in June and July a year in advance.
The Cliff Yurt

The 14’ Cliff Yurt sits on a bluff above the Meditation Building and is loved for the private deck with the fabulous view of the Chilkat Mountains, 3 miles across the Chilkat Inlet. There is an additional chair that folds out into a single bed. It is few minutes stroll along a forested trail to a private camp shower. It is also a 5-minute walk to the Lodge. Please note the paths to and from this yurt require those with Alaska trail confidence! Guests ask to return to the cliff yurt. It is also especially popular for those with bear phobia!
The Beach Yurt

The 14’ Beach Yurt is a light and bright option, conveniently located nearest to the Lodge, to the parking, and adjacent to the shower building. It also has a chair that converts to a single bed. Everyone who stays in the Beach Yurt promises to return!
The Riverside Yurt

The roomier 16’ Riverside Yurt is on a deck adjacent to a year-round stream which lulls our guests with the constant song of flowing “run-off” from Lily Lake on Mount Riley. This is the roomiest yurt, preferred by returning guests and those booking longer stays. There is also a small couch that converts to a single bed.
The Zen Yurt

The 14’ Zen Yurt lies above the lodge and yard with a lovely open view down the inlet. The access trail is behind the lodge. It has a queen Murphy bed and doubles as a massage studio used during retreats.
The Glam Tent
- 12’ x 14’
- Two twin beds

The 12’ x 14’ Glam Tent is on a private deck next to the stream. It is furnished similarly to a yurt but with two twin beds. It is also a minute’s walk to the lodge.
